11-11-11 DOUBLE WEDDING by Denise of Euforia "I found the perfect location at El Taj by Condohotels for my brides and grooms. The rooms, service, attention to detail... I could go on and on about how wonderful everything was and how comfortable I felt with my clients at El Taj. However, their beach site was not available for this date or the time that we needed, so that meant I had to find another spot for the weddings to take place.
As I started my search for the perfect beach location I happened to call Linda at Wicky's Beach Club and asked if her beach was available for a Double Wedding (two best friends) on November 11, 2011 (11-11-11). Luckily it was. The brides were best friends who had grown up together and had always dreamed of getting married at the same time, so it was a very magical moment for all of us.
Talk about fast action. Linda was there for me and my clients for all of the details that we needed to make everything just perfect. She actually walked to the government office in order for us to get the wedding permits. For me, every wedding is very important regardless of the number, and in the process of planning this small but very important day for my clients, Linda showed me that she feels the same way, too."
GABOR & ZSOFIA WEDDING "We spent two beautiful weeks with a couple of friends at Porto Playa in Playa del Carmen. Our condo was a penthouse with a big living room, two bedrooms, two bathroooms and even two kitchens. There were 3 LCD TVs with surround-sound in the condo. But one thing we didn't know, which came as a big positive surprise - our balcony wasn't a usual terrace... it was a huge rooftop with a Jacuzzi, outdoor grill and a bar! The condo looked exactly as in the pictures on the website!
Our wedding was at Wicky's in Playa del Carmen and the Wicky's bar was unforgettable. Everything was perfectly organized by Linda, our wedding planner: the photo shoot, the dinner, as well as the original tequila shot! All her professional services made our wedding day perfect."

When my wife Sarah and I first decided to get married in Playa, we began searching for wedding planners to help us coordinate the infinite details of a destination wedding. From our first phone call together, Linda impressed us with her professionalism, responsiveness, clear communication, and direction. In fact, it instantly became clear that we hadn't truly begun planning our wedding until we began working with Linda - she wasn't only critical to the wedding planning process, she WAS the planning process.
Despite Linda's expert guidance, things didn't exactly go as planned. Five days prior to our scheduled nuptials while in Mexico we received word of a potential HURRICANE heading our direction, and over the next two days it became clear that it was going to hit Playa del Carmen directly - on our wedding day. Over the next several hours and days we proceeded to cancel all flights of incoming guests, postpone our nuptials by a month, and drink more than our fair share of tequila. All the while, Linda was fielding questions from distraught would-be guests, rearranging flight and hotel reservations, organizing transportation, and generally acting as a savior for more than 60 people whose travel plans had just been suddenly thrown into disarray.
A month later, we were happily married along the beach on a beautiful, sunny day in Playa. So aside from coordinating and delivering the perfect cake, flowers, photographer, linens, and countless other details that made our nuptials picturesque and perfect at Condohotels and Wicky's Restaurant in Playa del Carmen, Linda saved our wedding from a hurricane. Not all of the guests originally planning to celebrate with us could make it, but of those who did attend - almost all had spent hours on the phone with Linda as she worked with the airlines, negotiated hotel reservations and rates, and generally replanned our entire wedding for us. Linda was our calm in the midst of the storm, and I can honestly say that our wedding would not have been what it was without her."
